Field have been hitting the crunchy streets of London raising the finance needed to set up our studios.

We are working with creative business consultancy, Creative Developments UK, to help us raise the money and are looking to have the studios up and running by Spring/Summer, 2010.

Everything is in place ready to go, we’re just negotiating our terms with a landlord.

Field are currently in negotiations regarding a 13,000 sq ft space in Bermondsey to convert into artist studios.It’s looking like we will be charging £1.05 per sq ft per month and there will be a mixture of open plan and self contained units.

Sharing the studio space is encouraged so we can get as much going on as possible.

As we are registered as a ‘Community Interest Company’ any money made through the renting of studios has to go back to our community, that’s you! (if you rent one of our studios) Any profit made will be used to provide facilities and commission the studio artists as part of an annual arts festival and possible touring show.
